Membership fees will not be prorated.
-
Your academic records will be transferred from the McMaster Medical Acupuncture database to the Canadian Academy of Medical Acupuncture (CAMA) electronic database and stored until CAMA ceases to operate.
-
You agree that we may verify your membership status with the Worker Safety Insurance Board or its equivalent, insurance companies, or regulatory bodies, including those years when your membership is inactive. CAMA will confirm the inactive membership to WSIB, insurance companies, or regulatory bodies when your membership lapses when contacted by these agencies.
-
Continuing education hours provided by CAMA will not accumulate if not used in specific years. You are entitled to a maximum of eight continuing education hours per calendar year from CAMA. Members need to pay the continuing education fees to sign up for the continuing education event at least thirty days before the start of the event. When attended in full, the continuing education fees will be refunded.
-
The continuing education event may or may not contain content that is interesting to you in a given year.
-
Unless otherwise specified, the continuing education event will be held in Hamilton, Ontario, or online if appropriate.

CAMA will provide up to thirty minutes of medical-legal advice along with your legal team per year of active membership. With continual membership, these hours are cumulative if they are not used unless the membership lapses. When your membership lapses, all the cumulative time will be voided. The thirty-minute advice for that active membership year will restart when the member joins again.
-
Your CAMA membership number is not an acupuncture licensing number.
-
This Agreement between You and CAMA is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
-
CAMA reserves the right to change its terms of service without advance or further notice. Please check our website from time to time for changes to our terms and conditions of service.
