"Medical Acupuncture Program - An Evidence-based Approach to Traditional Chinese Medicine" is recognized by the Worker Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) of Ontario for payments to acupuncture providers. 

"Regulated Health Professional, who has received appropriate training at an educational organization which trains and certifies individuals to practice acupuncture and to adhere to the standards of their Regulatory Colleges, can be approved to provide acupuncture treatment."
