Tuition Fees

Medical Acupuncture Program Tuition Fees

A $200 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit per course is required at the time of application; $1,000 for the entire Level 1 five courses or $1,000 for the entire Level 2 five courses. If an applicant is not accepted to a course, a full refund of the deposit will be given.

Payment of full tuition is required 60 days prior to a course. Registrations not paid in full by the 60-day deadline are subject to cancellation by our program and the deposits will be forfeited. To be eligible for any of the discounted rates, full payment is required at the time of application.

Level 1 Courses (1A20, 1B20, 1C20, 1D20 & 1E20).  The fees listed below are for registrations of the 2010 course dates.

Fee: $2780

Earlybird Fee: $1995 for the Spring (April) Program.  Limit to the first 20 registrants with their completed applications and fees.  Registrations commence on January 4, 2010 at 09:00.  Note, full payment is required at the time of registration to get this rate.

Level 2 Courses (2A20, 2B20, 2C20, 2D20 & 2E20).  The fees listed below are for registrations of the 2010 course dates.

Regular Fee: $2780

Combined Level 1 & 2 Courses

(1A20, 1B20, 1C20, 1D20 & 1E20, 2A20, 2B20, 2C20, 2D20 & 2E20).  The fees listed below are for registrations of the 2009 course dates.

Fee: $5,560

The dates for level 2 courses (lectures, practical sessions, web-based sessions and clinical lab sessions) are on the following tentative dates

Please note that the course registrants are not required to attend all the components but any combinations of the above to reach 100 hours with at least 2 web interaction sessions.  Tongue-pulse lab is restricted to one session per registrant.

We recommend interested health care professionals to register for one course at a time unless they are certain of their commitment to the courses or dates to avoid the larger cancellation fees for registering for one level or more at a time.  We strictly enforce our cancellation policies regardless of reasons for cancellation.

Attendances to Level 1 core courses including practical sessions (for those registered in Level 1) or Level 2 Web interaction sessions (for those registered in Level 2 courses) are mandatory. Completion of all relevant web-based components are required within 3 months of the first web interaction sessions of Level 2.  There is no credit for incompleted work and no make up time will be allowed past the course dates or deadlines.  Any make up lecture or practical sessions permitted by the instructors will be charged at $200 per hour individually. 

Acupuncture to body

The cost of the Level 1 comprehensive examination is:

Regular Fee:  $895 (Provided space is still available)
Early Registration: $695 (For those registered at least 10 business days before the Level 1 examination; provided space is still available)

Special Group Rate for 2010 Level 1 Registrants: $495 (Before the end  of April 25, 2010) for the December 2010 examination.

Level 1 examination is optional for the program but required for health care professionals who require a Certificate of Attendance or for WSIB and many other insurance billing purposes.

Please note that our cancellation policies apply to the Level 1 examination

Please note that revenue generated from this program may be used by us for other educational purposes in the medical school.
