The web learning components include watching videos on special techniques and learning acupuncture point anatomy at your own time and to be completed by August 31, 2010. There are also case interactions where the instructors will present cases over the web and work on these problems with the students over the internet on a specified time (See below). Note, this is optional and students may not want to attend if they already have over 44 hours of web learning.

Note: the practical sessions may be attended at McMaster University in Hamilton or at Queen's Landing Hotel in Niagara on the Lake. There is a surcharge* for the one group of participants attending the practical sessions at Queen's Landing.
*SURCHARGE of $295 for those taking the practical sessions at Niagara on the Lake to cover breakfasts, breaks, Lunches and room bookings during the labs. And, the hotel cost is $248 plus taxes (based on double occupancy) or $495 plus taxes per room for 3 nights. Room sharing may be possible. There are optional entertainment programs for those enrolled in the Niagara on the Lake Practical option.

Please Note:
Unless stated otherwise, courses are held at McMaster University, Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine (MDCL) starting on Saturdays at 8 a.m. and adjourning on Sundays at 5 p.m.
To have the maximum credit of 20 hours per course for the three core courses, the registrants will be required to sign out at 9 p.m. on Saturday. If the registrants complete all the practical session requirements by 6:00 p.m., the minimum requirement for challenging the Level 1 exam is still met but the maximum credit of 20 hours for this course will not be given.
All Level 2 courses, 1D20 and 1E20 have web-based learning components. The above dates are also dates for practical sessions, Tongue-Pulse lab in Toronto and web-based case interations of the Level 2 courses. Please contact us for more details.
