Medical Acupuncture Program
An Evidence-based Approach to Traditional Chinese Medicine
Chair: Dr. K. Trinh
Theories on Meridians, Five Elements, Tongue Pulse Diagnoses, Qi, and TCM pathologies will be presented. This program is not designed to train students to be an expert in TCM as that requires 4 to 5 years of full time study. However, students will have a general knowledge of TCM and proficient in using Meridian Theories in treating painful conditions.
Pre-requisite: Course 1A20. Completion of course 1B20 and 1C20 are strongly recommended.
