Medical Acupuncture Program
An Evidence-based Approach to Traditional Chinese Medicine
Chair: Dr. K. Trinh

Presentations will include clinical trials done on these common conditions and the protocols evaluated. Evidence-based reviews of conventional treatment will also be discussed. There will be sufficient amount of time in small group practice sessions and the anatomy lab for students to become competent in point locations and needling techniques for problems in these regions.

Pre-requisite: Course 1A20

Note: To have the maximum credit of 20 hours for this course, the registrants will be required to sign out at 9 p.m. on Saturday.  If the registrants complete all the practical session requirements by 6:00 p.m., the minimum requirement for challenging the Level 1 exam is still met but the maximum credit of 20 hours for this course will not be given.
