Medical Acupuncture Program
An Evidence-based Approach to Traditional Chinese Medicine
Chair: Dr. K. Trinh

Presentations will include clinical trials done on these common conditions and the protocols evaluated. Evidence based reviews of conventional treatment will also be discussed. There will be a sufficient amount of time in small group practice sessions and the anatomy lab for students to become competent in point locations and needling techniques for problems in these regions.

Pre-requisite: Course 1A20

Note: To have the maximum credit of 20 hours for this course, the registrants will be required to sign out at 9 p.m. on Saturday.  If the registrants complete all the practical session requirements by 6:00 p.m., the minimum requirement for challenging the Level 1 exam is still met but the maximum credit of 20 hours for this course will not be given.
