Medical Acupuncture Program
An Evidence-based Approach to Traditional Chinese Medicine
Chair: Dr. K. Trinh

The safety issues and adverse effects will be discussed based on the current scientific literature. Presentations will include clinical trials done on these common conditions and the protocols evaluated. Evidence based reviews of conventional treatment will also be discussed. There will be a sufficient amount of time in small group practice sessions and the anatomy lab for students to become competent in point locations and needling techniques for problems in these regions.

Pre-requisite: Open

Note: There are web-based components to this program
